Day 26 – taking responsibility for your faults – ouch!

As we mention in the video, today’s chapter begins with “Today will be hard.” It’s tough enough to go looking for your faults…but then confessing them and asking for forgiveness – wow. That is hard.

We chat about some of our thoughts around this and encourage you, as usual, to chat with us on the blog.
Thanks for checking in!

    Greetings, ya all!

Just a little note of encouragement – you are doing excellent! I have never really tuned into a reality type show of any kind, nor have I ever blogged anyone, so this is a double whammy for me. I have to confess, I have not been faithful to everyday – no real good excuses, other than my book went missing, and the times I am able to compute, in order to read the Dare for the day, are at 4am or after 11PM, of which, both times I am watching 100 Huntley.com (no tv) or Joyce Meyers on-line then it’s bedtime or get family up and going time.

Anyhow, it was not until after I lost my book that I realized the short version of the Dare was typed on-line. I did not get a chance to view most of your videos until today. That’s only because my husband is gone, and the kids are still in school. So, if you guys thought you were slow, “welcome to my world!” —Wendy, a little hint, when out ” mooching,” bring home some extras to your sweetheart, my sweety has always been thankful, no matter how late I arrive home. Also, very glad to see the Lord was protecting you on your trip to Haiti. As Kevin once said, “this is real life,” and we have so much to be thankful for. Hope to blog soon and fill you in on a little more. I thought this was long enough. My mother-in-law, whom I dearly love, tells me I have a gift for expounding my thoughts!!! God Bless Ya All, Renee

I am notsure if I am talking to myself or if anyone will respond to this but the Lord opened my eyes this am. Our pastor at our church gave my husband a devotional book and He told me it said not to divorce and to remain faithful in marriage. I am slow and never put two together but yesterday am I spoke with a prayer counsellor after I had read James 4 from the bible about how it says do be faithful in marriage and do not sin and then you are friends with the Lord. Now a lightbulb went off thanks to the Lord and I am sure some prayer power thaT WE BOTH BASICALLY WERE GIVEN THE SAME MEssAGE FROM THE LORD yesterday from different sources and times. I still need to tell him that and I also journal any cool things or scripures the Lord shows me. I still do not know what the future will hold due to our problems but I have something to hold on to today. The Lord is soooo good. Yaba Daba Doo ! Sister Sue who cannot wait to see Jesus and I am trying to Jump real high I am practicing for the rapture. I still need a great Job that wont stress me out as I am on leave due to problems with my last job. I wish I could work in a christian environment. I am not working which is putting extra stress in our household. So if their are any intercessors out their in computer land can you say one for our family. I may be blogging to my self but its worth it! Slister Sue

Renee, Thanks so much for chiming in!! We feel privileged to be among the first “blog recipients”! And appreciate your words of encouragement. Thanks for the tip about bringing home the “mooched” goods. It would probably earn me lots of brownie points.

Sue, That is exciting to hear that you were given the same message – how cool is that? I am “Yaba Daba Dooing” with you : )
Once again, thanks for taking the time to share your heart and journey both with us and with all those who jump on the blogs to encourage and be encouraged in this 40 day challenge.

    Blessings,
    Wendy
