The Love Dare–Day 28
We’re a bit late with this one…sorry ’bout the delay…you’ll find out why when you watch the video.
Now that you’ve watched it, this will make sense…almost forgot the biggie…coffee too!

Thank you – I felt that message very strongly! I have been fasting on Thursday evening till Friday noon as I feel that I recently received a blessing from those who do this on a regular basis. I don’t have a problem with giving up sweets at all and have been attempting to cut down on my consumption of red meat as well….now, going without my morning coffee would be quite the challenge so hats off to you Pastor Sam!!

Day 28: I guess that this does not sound like a great sacrifice but believe it is to me. I get bundled up even on the coldest days that I am not at work and go out to the barn and pick up eggs. I have to admit that once I am out there I really enjoy it but it is Dave’s job and I really do not like the part about going out into the cold and into a cold barn but I do it because it is one last thing that Dave will have to do when he gets home. Lately, Dave has been giving up some of his few precious hours that he is not at work to craft crosses for my group.
Thank you Jeeva and Sulojana for being so faithful doing the Love Dare commentaries for us. You really help me along on those days that we don’t think we have any input on a subject. May God continue to give you rest and strength to continue to the end.

Great job, Dorothy! I’m sure Dave appreciated your sacrifice very much. Thank you for your encouraging words…they mean a lot to us! Looking forward to hearing more as you and Dave complete the rest of the Love Dare!

I missed Sulojana laughing, along with me, at your jokes. Thanks for still taking the time to post this dare because I really do look forward to your input each day.
I did ask my husband if there was anything I could help him with to lift his load. Since he has just started a new job he does not seem to have as much spare time as he used to. I did offer to do the grocery shopping alone since we have always done it together. I also took the kids swimming by myself which is also something we do together. He said that I could fix a drawer (it needs gluing). I’ve always left those repairs to him but I will attempt it next week. Another job I could take over is washing our van. Car maintenance is another job I figured was a man’s job. I’m not sure how far I want to go with this sacrificing.
