The Love Dare–Day 36
Today we share how we’re putting into practice this dare about getting into God’s word together as a couple. As you will hear shortly, we are putting out an invitation to you, our legion of loyal viewers, to help us with something specific that is called for by this dare…By the way, there is an interruption in the video…in case you’re wondering, it is the sound of our alarm system responding to the door being opened by our son…please do not be, er, alarmed!…alright, go ahead, watch the video now!

You’ve given me a great idea! My husband and I each have our own devotions. He will occassionally share with me what he’s read and I will do the same. He always follows readings that go through the bible in a year. I am going to go through the same readings as him so that we can relate to the same scriptures and be able to share together.

Gemma & I have been reading the Bible together since late last year. We do this before we turn in for bed. We also read together from a devotional called “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young. It was a gift shipped to us from Georgia. You can also find some goodies at http://www.blueletterbible.org which I have found useful since 2007.
