I myself, am a happily married man (and I have my wife’s permission to say so! Ha, ha!). We will be celebrating our 18th anniversary this year and we have raised our two wonderful sons 14 and 12 years to love, honor and fear the Lord. All I can say is that if Jesus did not accompany us on this journey, teaching, guiding and enriching at every turn, we could not have come this far. Hey! Would love to meet you sometime. Maybe we could share/compare some notes/experiences?

Thanks for sharing your story and asking a very poignant question that I am sure is being asked by others as well.

In the movie Fireproof, you may recall it is only the husband that takes the Love Dare…and he too finds it very frustrating not to see any change in his wife after a number of days. However, he persists (with the encouragement of his father), turns his life over to God, and then God takes over and brings about a change in his wife.

We want to encourage you to also persist, hand him over to our heavenly Father, rejoice in the changes you are making…and let us agree in prayer (Matthew 18:19) that your husband will experience a change of heart, resulting in your marriage being renewed and strengthened.
