Anyone who is this naive and clearly has such poor judgment should hardly been responsible fo ra HUGE ministry.
Or is it a ministry at all?

The LORD Giveth ( but not to Ponzis)
and the LORD TAKETH AWAY (especially from Ponzis).
The Mainses should have invested in CROSSROADS instead ( just like the rest of us) ........ which makes a whole lot of sense...with much BIGGER wholesome returns.
Five percent profit per week is NOT realistic by any standard, not even Ponzi standards.
Months Later I am still shaking my head in complete disbelief.
Unbelievable. I am still upset.
Is the Brooklyn Bridge still for sale?

oops meant to say caining! lol
October 28, 2009 - 12:01 PM
(continued) No canning required! May you experience the love, peace and forgiveness of God the father, and those of us in the christian community who also forgive you and send their love to you and your family. :O)

It seems to be so easy for people that are not of faith to judge and critisize those of us that are. Yet when non-believers screw up, we are thre for them. When we screw up we are called naive and worse, looked down upon because we should have known better. Christians (or people of faith) have it harder than others when dealing with their failures. But they are still human and deserve love, forgiveness and empathy. Things are being handled as they should be in this sistuation......

I thank you Ron for your total honesty. It is very hard having your life viewed to the world. I have made many naive decisions resulting from my upbringing and I have had to learn from my mistakes. We do get wiser as God continues to teach us about the heart of man. I say to anyone judging this man of God, if you have not sinned, then throw the first stone.

I would imagine it takes time to decide if you are going to ask your PRESIDENT to step down and re-invent a pecking order. I think a lot of people think that Crossroads is a huge corporate machine. Its actually quite a humble charity, they just get a LOT done. But their staff is really small.

What concerns me is that Ron is grieved over the financial loss of his family, friends and ministry. What I was hoping to hear was his remorse for grieving God and the impact to His Kingdom. We've all sinned by ignoring the Holy Spirit's promptings when we want to do something that appeals to us that may not be within God's will. When we do this, God doesn't promise to protect us from the consequences (pruning)and crying 'victim' isn't really an option. May the Lord grant you wisdom and courage.

Ron and Reynold will be back on air before long rest assured. The mainse clan is circling the wagon.
It is interesting that Crossroad took no action at all until the paper broke the story.

I am a christian, these people were making probably making more money than the average person. As if he didn't know it, he was open in saying he was taking 5percent commission. People who everyday believe that their money is going for God's work, is be mishandled. The goverment should regulate how much christian organization so that fraud doesn't take place. The financial recession was based on greed, big corporation cheating people. Now God has turn the tables on them.

If you believe that, why are you spending time watching this video?
October 14, 2009 - 4:39 PM
Christians are the biggest suckers. You are brainwashed so bad that you can't even think for yourself. Christians are a plague on humanity.

I just finished watching the whole interview. I didn't know what exactly was happening except when watching the show. Ron I feel for you in every way! I have been in crisis myself where I have learned just as you through my mistake and what God has done in my life since and through the horrible ordeal. Empathy! I believe this make you more real to me. Really proves that just b/c of your faith you are not perfect or invisible. God Bless You!

I appreciated hearing Ron's side of the story, and know that God is in control. We are praying!

I do respect him much more for not being on the defensive about what happened and being honest. People are allowed to make mistakes, how they handle the mistake is what counts. I hope he's back on the air soon.
