Faith and Sports | 100 Huntley Street at Toronto Argos training camp – Folarin Orimalade
Folarin Orimalade grew up in church and recalls hearing the name of Jesus, but he was more concerned with leaving church early to play basketball and, at the time, had no hunger for God. Folarin spent many years living his own definition of what was right or wrong. As a result of this lifestyle, he built up an image that was based on his work, efforts, and accomplishments. It was not until he was playing with the Los Angeles Rams and got cut for the second time in 2017 that he finally realized work and accomplishments were not enough. He heard God calling him and telling him he was His no matter what he did or accomplished. Folarin can now testify he has been resting in this truth ever since Jesus became Lord and Savior of his life.
