100 Huntley Street | March 11, 2026
Today on 100 Huntley Street, we are joined by Deina Warren, Director of Legal Affairs, Canadian Centre for Christian Charities, to reflect on personal testimonies, expert analysis, and legal insight, into how MAID’s expansion is reshaping healthcare, disability rights, and public policy.
One year from now, Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) law is set to expand to allow people living with mental illness as their sole underlying condition to access euthanasia. The program calls Canadians to compassionate dialogue, courageous advocacy, and a renewed commitment to affirming dignity, hope, and the value of every life, as we rest in promise that we are all made in God’s image.
