Converting church space into affordable housing | Indwell Affordable Supportive Homes

Churches are partnering with Indwell to create supportive housing for people in need. St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kitchener is converting more than half of their church building into 41 units. Just 10 minutes away, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church sold their building to Indwell for half the market price after 3 congregations joined into a new church – Trillium Lutheran Church. People experiencing chronic homelessness in Kitchener and Waterloo are moving into the new 43 units at St. Mark’s Place. And it’s more than a home – it’s a community offering supports and most of all, hope.
