Deaf Ministry Welcomes an Underserved Community in Toronto Church
Deaf people worship together at Hope Church Toronto West as Daniel Ramos joins the worship team in American Sign Language. Many people in the deaf population feel isolated amongst hearing people. Barriers to being able to understand the service and a lack of people to connect with during fellowship can leave many people who are deaf at home. Hope Church Toronto West has created a community of deaf believers who are seeking God and a deeper understanding of the Word. Through the American Sign Language interpretation and opportunities for all to be involved in different ministries, the deaf people who attend Hope Church Toronto West say they feel welcomed and embraced at church.
