Ready for an International Crisis | Samaritans Purse

On March 19, Samaritan’s Purse—an international Christian relief organization—transported a fully-equipped Emergency Field Hospital—from the United States to its office in Calgary, Alberta to be deployed in the event of a future, international crisis. The tent facility arrived at the Calgary International Airport onboard the organization’s DC-8 and 757 Cargo planes and is now strategically placed in the organization’s local warehouse for emergency preparedness. It was a monumental moment for Samaritan’s Purse Canada as this facility brings the relief organization to a new level of disaster preparedness and will allow the relief group to increase its global medical response capacity in times of future crises.
