International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church IDOP – Laitu’s Story

On today’s program, we feature a nation where 89% of the globe’s martyred Christians live – Nigeria. Greg Musselman recently returned from there, and Cheryl Weber and Mark Masri feature the heartbreaking stories he brought back. The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is the first Sunday in November each year, (November 5, 2023) an observance within the Christian calendar in which congregations pray for Christians who are persecuted for their faith. It’s estimated over 100,000 congregations honour this tradition worldwide.
