Just Act | Angie Peters

Angie Peters is an inspiring and collaborative leader in Toronto’s social sector. She spent 16 years as a senior executive in telecommunications before moving into the social profit sector to support initiatives investing in people and working towards the end of poverty. Angie has served as President and CEO of Yonge Street Mission for 10 years. Angie’s new book is called “Just Act: We are the Solution to Poverty” an inspirational guide for people, businesses and community organizations concerned about poverty to develop a measurable action plan to help address poverty with effective initiatives while addressing barriers to success.
