National Down Syndrome Week in Canada | One family’s story

The Verhulst family join us to share Who Jesus is to them both individually, and as a family. 41 years ago, Adriaan, Dianna, and their two eldest children welcomed Kyle into their lives and their hearts. Born with Down Syndrome, Kyle’s arrival into this world brought with him much joy, but also fear and uncertainty as his young parents processed this new reality and began the journey of parenting a Down Syndrome child.
