M.A.I.D Medical Assistance in Dying legislation changes March 2024 | What can you do?

Medical Assistance in Dying laws are scheduled to change on March 17 2024, allowing Canadians whose sole underlying condition is mental illness, to access MAID and end their lives with medical assistance. This means that your children, grandchildren, friends, loved ones, spouses, church community members, colleagues and neighbors who struggle with common mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, anorexia, OCD, or PTSD, could seek out MAID, and be able to die by suicide with medical assistance as early as March of this year.
