Known for her warm and authentic voice, Lara'greatest passion is to help people encounter the love of God and the life-changing hope of Jesus. Since late 2019, Lara has served at Crossroads as Executive Producer and Host of 100 Huntley Street, Canada's longest-running daily television show.

Whether interviewing thought leaders, conversing with public figures, or talking with everyday people, Lara's focus remains the same - to shine a light on the unique ways God is moving in the hearts and lives of people across the globe.

God has brought Lara to the steps of Crossroads more than once. First, as an at-risk teen calling into the Crossroads' prayer center for spiritual support, then as an interview guest on 100 Huntley Street, later as a hope-filled Bible college student seeking politically-minded mentorship from David Mainse, and eventually as a Crossroads Prayer Partner.

Lara has a Master of Arts from the University of Toronto in theology, Christian ethics, and biblical interpretation. Lara has over a decade of experience serving in pastoral, outreach and youth and family ministry in local churches in Toronto, Ontario. In the world of media, Lara has worked as an executive producer and screenwriter with leading Canadian broadcasters such as CBC, CTV/Bell, Rogers, TFO. Lara's work as a print journalist has been featured in magazines published by EnsembleIQ and MediaEdge. Lara has served in local church ministry as a street outreach worker, youth pastor and family pastor.

When not serving in ministry at Crossroads or her local church, Lara can be found sipping coffee, reading the Bible with pen in hand, or telling fond stories of her late Messianic-Jewish stepfather, and going on fun adventures with her husband Jeff and their two sons.
